Partnership for a Drug-Free Community, Inc., established in 1988, is a non-profit dedicated to creating a healthier, drug-free community in Northern Alabama.

Prevention.

Our proactive initiatives have influenced synthetic drug laws, inspired educational programs, and saved lives with the help of our extensive partner network.

Is the only way we can face this challenge, so we partner with law enforcement, clergy, educators, medical professionals, local businesses, and government leaders to change lives.

Education.

With programs like Ozzie OPPS, our passionate educators use evidence-based life skills curriculums to engage and empower students to be drug free.

For All Ages.

From ages 7 to 77, our curriculums are tailored to be age appropriate and engaging for the whole family–making this important but difficult topic accessible to all.

Action.

For us, this mission is personal. So when someone is in need of help, we show up. Every program and every partner is laser focused on the person in need of care.

Peer to Peer.

Through lived experience, our peer support specialists are uniquely able to meet people where they are–without judgement–and connect them to the right care.

One of the biggest roadblocks to treatment is cost. That's why, for anyone we serve, there is none. All prevention, education, and substance misuse support is FREE.

No Cost. Period.

Donors, sponsors, grants, and gifts make it possible for us to serve Northern AL with no cost to participating students, educators, clients, or clients' families.
